About me...

Hi, my name is Richard Bonsall and I'm a Snowboarder! I fell in love with the sport the first time I strapped a snowboard on to my feet.

Fast forward a few years...

I am a professional snowboard instructor, guide and trainer with 17 years of experience in the outdoor industry, I have worked in both hemispheres and held management positions in different ski schools. I am fluent in both English and German.

As a member of the mountain rescue in Austria, all my courses are delivered in the safest manner possible. My high standard of riding along with my passion for technical knowledge and bio mechanics, allows me to deliver the highest quality courses, guaranteeing fun and progression to my clients.   

I hold the highest level of qualifications in Austria;

Diplome snowboard instructor and Snowboardführer (Backcountry Guide) from Snowsports Austria

I also hold qualifications from New Zealand (SBINZ) and Great Britain (BASI).

In the summer I continue to work in the outdoors as a Canyoning, Mountain Bike and Rafting Guide.
